Unfortunately, It is with great sadness, the event cannot go on this year. The VA has strung power lines across the site, lot 29, that we were going to use for the event, which makes it impossible to put up our tents. Our emergency road access has been taken away as well. As you know, this event is funded solely by sponsors, donations, and food procurement. Due to the many weather and fire related disasters in California and throughout the country, donations of food and money have been going to those who have lost everything. We continue to support our Veterans by joining with our colleagues at the 4th of July Veterans Celebration at the Long Beach VA. Please visit www.annualvidc.com
Thank you, again, for your many years of service honoring Veterans of all wars, Active Duty Servicemen and Women and their families by volunteering your time and talents to the Veterans’ Holiday Celebration.
